Parameters

q
querystringrequired
Search text, 1–30 characters.
quotesCount
queryinteger
Symbol matches to return, 0–20.
Default: 6
newsCount
queryinteger
News stories to return, 0–20.
Default: 4

Behavior

  • A query is fetched from the source when storage holds fewer matches than you asked for, or its news has aged out, and then not again for an hour.
  • A ticker that has never been requested before answers on the first call instead of coming back empty.
